An extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organisation of Islamic Countries at the level of Foreign Ministers was held in Jeddah
On 26 February 2026, an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organisation of Islamic Countries at the level of Foreign Ministers was held in Jeddah. The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Mr. Mutallim Mirzayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the OIC. During the event, participants discussed the latest developments in the Israel–Palestine conflict zone, the threats posed to the region, and possible avenues for resolution.
