Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mutallim Mirzayev, met with Mr. Jameel Altheyabi, Editor-in-Chief of Okaz Newspaper, one of the oldest and most prominent newspapers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Jeddah. During the meeting, the sides highlighted the excellent relations and constructive cooperation established between the Embassy of Azerbaijan and Okaz Newspaper. The meeting also included an overview of historical news reports and archival photographs published by Okaz over the years covering Azerbaijan–Saudi Arabia relations, reflecting the long-standing friendship and growing partnership between the two brotherly countries. Ambassador Mutallim Mirzayev expressed appreciation for Okaz Newspaper’s continued interest in Azerbaijan and its active role in presenting developments related to Azerbaijan, including bilateral cooperation, cultural initiatives, and major international events hosted by the country.
