Brief information on diplomatic relations:

The Republic of Yemen recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 30, 1991. Two countries established diplomatic relations on February 25, 1992.

High level mutual visits:

June 28-30, 2005                    Working visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic

                                               Azerbaijan Mr. E.Mammadyarov to the Republic of Yemen  to

                                               participate in the 32-nd session of the Islamic Conference of

                                               Foreign Ministers

Contractual-legal bases:

There is no any agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Yemen.
