Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Adel al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia

April 14, 2016. Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Adel al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the 13th Islamic Summit Conference of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Turkey.

At the meeting the sides expressed their satisfaction with the current status of cooperation and joint actions within the OIC between the two countries as well as noted the importance of further development of the relations. The sides stressed that it is significant to strengthen the cooperation within the international organizations.

Ministers mentioned the importance to exchange delegations, intensify contacts between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries and organize the high-level reciprocal visits in order to enhance the cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic-trade, humanitarian and other spheres.

At the meeting the sides exchanged views on the regional and global issues of mutual concern.
